ABDULAZIZ MOHAMMED AL BALUSHI
Chairman
Mr. AbdulAziz Mohammed Al Balushi has been the Group CEO of Oman International Development and Investment Company SAOG (OMINVEST) since January 2014.
With experience of more than 30 years, AbdulAziz has extensive in-depth knowledge of global financial services industry. At OMINVEST, AbdulAziz was the key driver behind the merger of Ominvest and ONIC Holding, which has created the largest publicly listed investment company in Oman.
Before joining OMINVEST, AbdulAziz was the CEO of Ahlibank SAOG from 2007 to 2013 and was primarily responsible in converting a single product mortgage bank into a full-fledged commercial bank. During his tenure, Ahlibank won many prestigious awards including; the best bank of Oman for three consecutive years by OER, the best bank in Oman 2012 by World Finance and the Bankers award 2013. AbdulAziz has held positions of increasing responsibility in all major areas of Banking. Abdulaziz started his career with Oman International Bank and prior to joining Ahlibank, he was Deputy CEO of National Bank of Oman.
AbdulAziz holds Master of Science Degree in Finance from the University of Strathclyde (UK) and a Fellow Chartered Institute of Bankers (UK). He has attended a host of Specialized Executive Management Development Programs at International Institutes of worldwide repute including, London Business School, INSEAD Business School and Strathclyde University Business School. In November 2012, he was ranked as the "Second Best CEO in the Arab Banking World" by Forbes Magazine.
AbdulAziz is the Chairman of Board of Directors at Oman Electricity Transmission Company SAOC (a wholly government-owned entity), Oman Real Estate Investment and Services SAOC and Oman National Investment Corporation SAOC. He is also a Board member at Oman Arab Bank SAOC, National Finance Company SAOG and National Life and General Insurance Company SAOC. Additionally, he is a member of Oman American Business Center, an organization formed to foster the development of commercial activity between the United States of America and the Sultanate of Oman.

Mr. Nasri Victor Malhamé has been Chief Executive Officer and General Manager of Arab Bank (Switzerland) Ltd., (a/k/a, Arab Bank Ltd) since December 1, 2014. Mr. Malhamé served as the Chief Executive Officer and General Manager of Arab Bank Ltd. from January 2009 to 2012. Mr. Malhamé has been a Director of AB Alternative Strategies Fund PCC Ltd - AB Alternative Arbitrage Fund since March 1, 2015. He served as a Director at AB Alternative Strategies Fund P.C.C. Limited from August 16, 2011 to January 14, 2013. He served as a Director of IIAB PCC Ltd - IIAB Sukuk & Murabaha MENA Fund and IIAB MENA Feeder Fund until January 2013. SHAHID RASOOL

Shahid Rasool is the Chief Investment Officer at OMINVEST and joined the firm in 2014. Over the last 20 years, he has led numerous senior investment roles and built successful investment management businesses for leading firms in the Middle East. Shahid has managed substantially large investment portfolios across public markets, private equity, fixed income and hedge funds. Before joining OMINVEST, Shahid was Head of Public Securities at QInvest, LLC (Qatar`s largest investment bank) and managed the bank’s proprietary capital and client portfolios focusing on MENA and Global Equities. Earlier, he was Head of Investments Group at First Gulf Bank (FGB) in Abu Dhabi, where he led a large team and managed multi-asset investment portfolios covering MENA and Global markets. Shahid also extensively managed private equity investments at ADIC – an Abu Dhabi based Sovereign Wealth Fund. Before that, he was a Senior Analyst in the Asset Management Division at Riyad Bank and an Equity Analyst with ABN AMRO Hoare Govett. Shahid is a CFA charter holder and received his MBA from The University of Chicago, Booth School of Business, Illinois, USA
 
  

SAID AL HABSI

SAID ALHABSI has an extensive industry experience in finance and investments, and has spent a considerable amount of time in two of the most prestigious Investment Funds in Oman. Said Al Habsi, Investment Director at Oman Investment Fund (OIF), holds MBA and Bachelor of Finance. Previously, he worked for Ministry of Defense Pension Fund holding various senior posts in Investment and Finance fields. SAID has attended a host of Specialized Executive Management Development Programs at International Institutes of worldwide repute including, IMD, Columbia Business School and Cambridge University Judge Business School. With experience of more than 16 years, SAID has extensive in-depth knowledge of global financial markets and investments.

 
 
LO’AI BADIE BATAINEH

Lo’ai B. Bataineh is the Chief Executive Officer of Ubhar Capital SAOC (‘U Capital’). Lo’ai is an accomplished investment banker and a key figure in investment banking industry in Middle East. Lo’ai has an extensive experience of over 30 years with deep knowledge of local, regional and global capital markets and strong understanding across multiple sectors. From 1990 onwards, Lo’ai worked for 8 years at Arab Bank’s Amman office. Following which, in 1998, he was seconded to Oman Arab Bank in order to setup the Investment Management Group (IMG). At Oman Arab Bank - IMG, he played an instrumental role in the establishment and development of key services including asset management, brokerage, corporate finance & advisory, custody, wealth management, research and back office operations. Through his vision and passion, IMG developed into one of the most comprehensive investment banking service providers in the Sultanate of Oman.
